Punch holes into the fabric all the way around the raw edge of the blanket with a tiny crochet hook or with a seam ripper.
- Single crochet a row around the edge of the blanket by crocheting through the holes.
- Then crochet a row using 3 double crochets in one stitch, 1 sc in the next, 3 dc in next stitch, 1 sc in the next.
- Repeat until second row is completed.
