Make a One-Layer Fleece

Use 1 1/2 yards of materials if you’re making a child or teen sized blanket. The fringe on a smaller size makes a very skinny blanket!

A single layer of fleece is best in our area. Please don’t double layer the fleece.

Please don’t forget to cut off the selvages (that’s the wavy, bumpy edges) one of the most important finishing touches.

Fringes should be 4″ or 5″ long. Longer fringes can be hazardous if tangled in medical equipment.
